Twenty Mile Kennel is located twenty miles from the city center of Anchorage and is located in the scenic community of Chugiak,  Alaska, Twenty Mile Kennel is a personal "Recreational Musher Facility" - that means we do it for the sport and not as a business. Nevertheless, we are licensed as required by the City of Anchorage. The kennel has approximately twenty Alaskan huskies some of which are Iditarod and Copper Basin 300 veterans. The kennel is operated by Janis and Larry Andersen. They are members of the Chugiak Dog Musher's Club.
