Preparation: 45 minutes Family Traditional Recipe
Makes 16 2-inch brownies Susan Chambers Dalmann
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup baking cocoa
Procedure
  1. Melt butter in pan over low heat; add cocoa and blend.
  2. In a large bowl, mix eggs and sugar; add melted chocolate mixture, flour and nuts. Mix well (batter will be stiff).
  3. Put in greased and floured 8 x 8 pan and bake in 350º oven for 20 minutes or until tested done.
  4. Recipe may be doubled and put into 9 x 13 pan.
