- Place drained sweet potatoes in mixer bowl. Mix until potatoes are a smooth mash. Add condensed milk, egg and spices and mix until well combined. Pour into prepared pie shell and set aside.
- In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon and butter. Blend with a fork to makle a crumbly mixture. Add pecans and mix just until combined. Sprinkle evenly over the top of the prepared pie.
- Bake in a preheated 375° oven for 50 to 65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on a rack to room temperature before cutting and serving.
